Bretton Woods Hosted its first Fall Block Party! Many neighbors came out and socialized while the kids enjoyed Jupiter jump, face painting, and balloon man. Kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes were entered into a drawing to win a Toys R Us gift card; five lucky yougsters won $20 each! The HOA board members served up bowls of chili and hot dogs from the grill and even dressed up in costumes themselves! The highlight of the afernoon centered around the fundraiser for our troops abroad: many homeowners contributed monetary donations and person hygiene products for our soldiers. The Blue Star Mothers will package up everything and send the supplies overseas. We hope to make the Fall Block Party an annual tradition! |

New Water Treatment Added To Garnett Entrance
The landscape committee made some enhancements to the front entrance on Garnett Road this summer to make the entrance more attractive and appealing when driving by and into the Bretton Woods neighborhood. These changes include a new rock water fountain feature, landscape lighting on both sides of the street and additional electrical outlets for seasonal Christmas lights. Total cost for the project was just under $4500. |
